A historic milestone was marked by the National Institute for Social Training and Education (INCES), this Friday, March 14, when for the first time, honors were given to the teacher of teachers, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, on the occasion of the 123th anniversary of his birth.

By executive order, since January 16, as part of the celebration of Teacher's Day, the mortal remains of this distinguished teacher have been admitted to the emblematic place reserved as a last home for the great of the Fatherland.

The main committee of the activity consisted of the president of INCES, Wuikelman Angel, accompanied by the strategic director of training, Jorge Pérez; the director of the firm, Alfredo Carquez; the strategic director of Operations, Natalie Carmona, and the general manager of Finance, Alexander Villarroel.

Along with them, apprentices and participants, together with the general managers and workers of the institution, honored and recognized Maestro Prieto as one of the great thinkers of education, not only in Venezuela, but in Latin America.

The event began with the movement of the authorities to the sarcophagus of the Liberator and Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar, for the respective avenues of greeting and farewell, marked by the notes of the national anthem.

Historic moment when, for the first time, the INCES anthem, with music by maestro Inocente Carreño, sounded in the monumental space where the country's greatest figures rest.

Once the protocol acts before the Liberator's sarcophagus were over, those present moved down the Pantheon corridor until they reached the cenotaph of another famous Venezuelan, Andrés Bello, in front of whom five great Venezuelan letters rest: Rafael María Baralt, Andrés Eloy Blanco, Lisandro Alvarado and, now, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa.
