The National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (INCES) signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement with the Bicentennial University of Aragua (UBA), the Nueva Esparta University (UNE) and the Association of Rectors of Private Universities (ASOUPRI).

This strategic agreement seeks to unify efforts and resources to promote and strengthen professional and university technical education, creating an educational system directly linked to the productive reality and the real demands of the Venezuelan labor market.

The alliance will be structured in five priority areas that include the modernization of technical training, the strengthening of the National Learning Program (PNA) and the approval of curricular meshes to ensure academic continuity towards the undergraduate degree. It also establishes the accreditation of knowledge based on work experience and the development of indicators together with the INCES Occupations and Employability Observatory, eliminating barriers between technical training and the university sector so that young people and workers can advance their professional profile.

During the event, the president of INCES, Wuikelman Angel Paredes, emphasized that the main institutional interest is to link its programs with university programs through a joint dialogue that builds a new curriculum adapted to current needs. “We are not just talking about occupations, we are talking about occupations so that the entire country attaches importance to continuous training, responding to the demands of technological evolution, Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation,” added the institution's authority.

For her part, the rector of the UBA, Edilia Papa, celebrated this link between the world of work and the academic world, in which the university will recognize the experience and hours of preparation of Inces apprentices through the curricular units, so that they can apply for university degrees. In line with this, Alberto Ramírez, president of ASOUPRI and rector of the UNE, stressed that in this first stage of training, priority must be given to sectors that are key to the country's economic development, specifically to the areas of administration, tourism and automotive mechanics.

The event was attended by the rector of the Technological University of the Center (UNITEC), Luis Eduardo Martínez; the president of the Superior Council of the Bicentennial University of Aragua, Basilio Sánchez and the president of Consecommerce, José Gregorio Rodríguez, who in his speech thanked and applauded this effort that strengthens relations between private universities and public education.
