The Venezuelan Eugenio Suárez, who is experiencing an excellent campaign in Major League Baseball (MLB), was chosen the Most Valuable Player of the Week.
This is the second time in his career in the Grand Tent, that Suárez has won the mention, both this season.
The Venezuelan left a solid batting average of .400 with nine runs scored, five RBIs and 21 bases reached.
In addition, he became the first Venezuelan in major league history with a four-home run game.
Suárez shared the National League award with Andy Pagés, who led 20-13 (.650) with three home runs and six RBIs with the California Nos.
For his part, the Dominican Jorge Polanco, of the Seattle Mariners, won the mention for the American League.
