Instituto Municipal de Desarrollo Social de Lara offers seven care specialties

Seven free medical specialties are offered by the new center of the Municipal Institute for Social Development (IMDES) in Iribarren, in the state of Lara, inaugurated in the Las Playitas sector of El Cují, in the north of Barquisimeto.

Among the areas of care that will be provided to the population are general and internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, dentistry, gynecology, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, ultrasound and cardiology, the mayor of Iribarren, Yanys Agüero, said Monday in a press release from the municipality.

Agüero indicated that this inauguration is part of the actions of the Plan El Cují Vive y Cuenta, an initiative promoted by the local executive in the different parishes of Larense. The comprehensive rehabilitation work required a total investment of 96,018,056 bolivars, an amount that included civil infrastructure works, the technological provision of medical equipment, general furniture and the initial supply of essential supplies and medicines for the people.
