Internationalist Brigade evaluated the day of the Popular Consultation 2026

The Internationalist Brigade that accompanied the National Popular Consultation 2026 highlighted community participation and the direct nature of the process.

Silvia, delegate from Catalonia, said that the consultation “is an enormous exercise in democracy” and stressed that decisions “are taken from the territories”. He valued the role of women in popular organizations and their political strength.

Selena, representative of the United States, said that the day dismantles the narrative spread in her country. “Here I see a stronger democracy. In the United States, I can't decide where the resources go,” he said. She highlighted that many projects in Venezuela are led by women.

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Tania Díaz, thanked the presence of the Internationalist Brigade and stressed that International Women's Day is celebrated with a popular consultation throughout the country.

He recognized the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant Cilia Flores, as well as the work of the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez. He stated that the day went by normally and that “in Venezuela there is peace, democratic construction and popular work.”
