INTT announces partial closure of ARC this Sunday

The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) reported that the planned partial restriction on the Central Regional Highway (ARC) was rescheduled for this Sunday, May 24 from 5:00 in the morning.
The measure covers the stretch between Alcabala 3 of Fuerte Tiuna, in Caracas, to Campo Carabobo, in Carabobo state. During the day, the authorities will enable a single traffic channel in the direction of Caracas-Carabobo to maintain vehicle mobility.
The road operation will begin on the Valle-Coche Highway and will continue along the ARC until it connects to the Autopista del Sur. The INTT indicated that the action responds to compliance with Article 81 of the Land Transportation Act, related to special permits for sports competitions on national roads within the framework of the Gran Fondo Batalla de Carabobo event.
The Gran Fondo Batalla de Carabobo brings together cyclists from different regions of the country in a long-distance competition that crosses part of the Venezuelan central axis. The authorities will reinforce preventive measures to ensure road safety and the orderly development of the event.
