The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) gives awareness-raising talks in road classrooms, for drivers who break the law.

These classrooms are located at security checkpoints, with the objective of providing and promoting road education to offending drivers through talks.

During the talks, they are reminded of the importance of using safety devices, respecting signs, respecting speed limits, avoiding the consumption of alcoholic beverages, the use of protective helmets (motorized), and carrying vehicle documents up to date.

It should be noted that during this holiday of the Major Week, the INTT is also once again implementing the Regularization and Speed Control device (RECOVAC), on motorways, trunk roads and national roads that go to tourist destinations, in order to reduce the rates of accidents due to speeding.

This regulation consists of retaining traffic and controlling movement at very low speeds, by INTT units and security officials, during the sections with the highest traffic flow.

The INTT calls on drivers to be cautious when traveling through the country's main road arteries, in order to preserve life and reduce road accident rates to zero.
