Iran announces that it will only stop its operations if Israel ceases its illegal aggression

The Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, reported that the Armed Forces of the Persian nation will stop their legitimate defense operations only if Israel ceases its illegal attacks against the territory of his country.

This is how the Iranian diplomat responded to the announcement made earlier by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who assured the existence of a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel.

“Until now there is no 'agreement' on any ceasefire,” the Iranian foreign minister decided, but he highlighted his country's willingness to promote peace in the midst of a conflict that he recalled was initiated by Israel with unjustified attacks against the Persian nation.

“As long as the Israeli regime ceases its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4:00am Tehran time, we have no intention of continuing our response afterwards,” he said and specified that “the final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be taken later.”
