The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, said that issues surrounding his country's nuclear program cannot be resolved through war.
In this regard, he referred to the bombings of June 2025 that demonstrated that this technology cannot be destroyed by attacks. Meanwhile, the foreign minister maintained that diplomacy is the only viable path, Telesur explained.
Araghchi said that even the United States (USA) recognizes this reality when it returns to the negotiating table in search of an agreement, despite the fact that Tehran declares itself prepared for both peace and war.
The minister denied the versions that suggested an Iranian proposal to suspend uranium enrichment for two or three years, as well as the alleged US demands for a total cessation of such activities.
He also stressed that the speculations are false and added that the recent negotiations in Geneva did not propose “zero enrichment” nor did the Persian delegation offer breaks in the nuclear program.
