Iran celebrates its resistance and claims to have forced the Israeli regime to stop the war

This Tuesday, the Islamic Republic of Iran, through the Supreme National Security Council, declared political and military victory after forcing the implementation of the ceasefire with Israel, after twelve days of intense clashes.

The Supreme National Security Council strongly emphasized the spirit of the Iranian people, the national cohesion and the response capacity of its Armed Forces, which were decisive in “subduing the enemy and stopping its aggression”.

“Thanks to the conscience of our people, the firmness of our forces and the wise leadership, we won,” said the Council, stressing that the Iranian resistance pushed back Israel and frustrated its strategic objectives, according to information reported by the Fars agency, the military pressure exerted by Tehran forced Tel Aviv to request a truce.

Since the early morning of Tuesday 24, Iran launched six waves of missiles on Israeli territory, maintaining its offensive “until the last minute”, as confirmed by the Persian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi.

The cessation of hostilities was announced by the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, who confirmed the entry into force of the truce and asked that “no one violates it”.
