Iran denounced attacks by the Israeli Zionist regime against vaccine factories and health centers

The Islamic Republic of Iran denounced attacks by the Israeli Zionist regime against vaccine factories and health centers, which constitute a violation of international law.

The complaint was raised last Monday, during a meeting of the Working Group for the Strengthening of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons (BWC), held in Geneva by the director of the Department of Disarmament and Arms Control of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heidar Ali Baluchi.

Hispantv explained that in reference to the aggressive, direct and deliberate attacks by the Israeli regime against vaccine production facilities, drugs and health centers in Iran, Baluchi condemned these actions as a clear violation of international law and the fundamental principles of the Convention.

He also warned that, in addition to damaging national public health capacities, these attacks represent a threat to both regional and global biosecurity.
