Iran: Presidential Candidates to Have First Face-to-Face Debate

This Monday, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first face-to-face debate will take place between the six presidential candidates, the appointment is at 8:00 at night (local time) and will be broadcast on public television.
The debate will involve the six candidates in the presidential elections, the President of the Parliament, Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf; the mayor of Tehran, Alireza Zakani; former legislator Amir Hosein Qazizade Hashemi, former Minister of Health Masud Pezeshkian, former Minister of Interior and Justice Mostafa Purmohamadi, and former nuclear negotiator Said Yalili, will attend this decisive and expected electoral meeting.
The first face-to-face will be broadcast live on channels 1, Jame Jam and Salamat on official Iranian television and will last approximately four hours, Hispantv said.
In addition, the media explained that presenter Mehdi Josravi will moderate and ask candidates about issues that concern citizens and the future programs of the candidates if elected in the early elections on June 28.
