This Monday, the Islamic Republic of Iran reiterated that it does not seek to increase tensions between its country and Israel, for this reason it adheres to international standards. However, he considered it necessary to punish the regime.

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Naser Kanani, emphasized that the Islamic Republic is a power that guarantees security, and its decision to attack some military headquarters of the Zionist regime was carried out within the framework of defense.

In this way, he stressed that the actions are in line with the exercise of his inherent right to legitimate defense, established in Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, and in response to the repeated aggressions of this regime, especially its recent aggression against Iran's diplomatic headquarters in Damascus, Syria.

“Iran does not seek to develop tensions in the region and adheres to international norms and laws and will always act to deter and punish any aggressor. Iran's action was necessary and proportionate and aimed at military objectives,” Kanani reiterated.
