Iran reiterates support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Venezuela in the face of US aggression

The Islamic Republic of Iran once again rejected any threatening action against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the face of hostile actions by the United States (USA).

During a videoconference with members of the Persian country's diplomatic mission in Venezuela, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abás Araqchi, thanked the diplomatic effort to consolidate ties between the two countries.

The Foreign Minister expressed his confidence that the Venezuelan people, after maintaining unity and national cohesion, will defend the independence and national interests of their country against U.S. aggression.

For his part, the Iranian ambassador to Venezuela, Ali Chegini, presented during the virtual meeting a report on the measures taken and the course to strengthen bilateral relations, Hispan TV reports on its website.
