Iran rejects foreign interference in Venezuela's internal affairs

This Friday, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Naser Kanani, through his account on the social network X, rejected foreign interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela following the intervention of the United States (USA) to fuel violence in the country after the elections.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the need to respect the vote and election of the people of Venezuela within the framework of the right to self-determination of nations, as well as to respect the sovereignty of governments within the framework of international treaties and conventions, especially the Charter of the United Nations,” the spokesman reiterated.

Likewise, Kanani reaffirmed solidarity and firm support for the nation and the government of Venezuela “has expressed its opposition to any foreign pressure and interference in the internal affairs of this country and believes that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has the capacity and will to protect and guarantee the fundamental rights of the people of that country within the framework of the constitution.”
