Authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran agreed to start a new phase of diplomatic talks with the countries that make up the European Troika: the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

The talks will take place at the end of next week and will be attended by Deputy Foreign Ministers. The Iranian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Political Affairs, Majid Takht-e Ravanchi.

The decision of the Persian nation came in response to a request from European countries, according to information provided by the Al Mayadeen web portal.

The negotiations will be independent of the Persian country's indirect talks with the United States Government, because the European Troika is part of the nuclear agreement, and Tehran demands that these countries fully comply with their commitments.

Regarding the recent attacks on Iranian installations, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, noted that “these attacks have demonstrated that the military option is not a solution to the problem of the Iranian nuclear program (...) The only way is a political solution based on negotiation, which will not be possible unless the other side renounces its military ambitions and compensates for the damage they have caused us”.
