This Tuesday, the Islamic Republic of Iran promised to respond to a Zionist attack that demolished the nation's consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus and killed eight people, including two generals.
The Iranian Supreme National Security Council met Monday night and decided on a “necessary” response to the attack. The report said that the meeting was chaired by President Ebrahim Raisi, but did not provide further details.
Likewise, the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said: “We will make them regret the crime and similar acts.”
On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Syria, Hussein Arnous, after visiting the Iranian embassy in Damascus, said that rescue workers are still looking for bodies under the rubble.
