This Wednesday, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abdol Rahim Musavi, said that the attacks launched so far against Israel have been only “warnings” and assures that “punitive operations” will take place soon.

In a television message, the newly appointed chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, the major general, said Tuesday night that operations carried out since Friday against Israeli targets have served as a “warning” and that “punitive operations” will be carried out soon.

He denounced Israel's barbaric and deliberate attacks against Iranian civilians, including women, children and the elderly, and said that the regime's actions in attacking journalists constitute a flagrant violation of international law.

The military high command recalled the murder of some 300 journalists in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon by Israel since October 7, 2023, and reported that the regime launched a brutal attack against media professionals from the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB) to silence the voice of truth.

“The great Iranian nation, as history shows, has never bowed to any aggression and, standing firm in the face of this savage act, will make the Zionist regime pay for its crimes, God willing,” he said.

General Musavi assured that the martyrdom of Iranian civilians, scientists and “commanders” will “strengthen the determination” of the Armed Forces to “take severe retaliation”.
