The mayor's office of the Iribarren municipality, in Lara state, is carrying out comprehensive rehabilitation work in the northern area of Barquisimeto with the installation of a thousand tons of asphalt.
This work is part of the “Plan El Cují Vive y Cuenta”, an itinerant program that is carried out in various parishes in the municipal jurisdiction, with the purpose of improving roads and transforming the urban environment of the most popular sectors, guaranteeing safe and decent passability for their inhabitants.
This information became known, during an inspection carried out by the mayor of Iribarren, Yanys Agüero, of these works that are being carried out at the entrance of Las Veritas, accompanied by the Secretary of Human City and Public Services, Dayana Mejía, and Angélica Yépez, president of the municipal infrastructure agency, EMICA.
During the supervision, Agüero explained that the section covered covers 3.5 kilometers of road, from the main entrance of the Las Veritas sector to the community church.
He said that “we are fulfilling our commitment to our people at Las Veritas. With this work, we dignify communities and demonstrate that this plan is a reality that reaches every street to transform the reality of our people.”
He also stressed that these tasks are complementary to the permanent recovery that is being maintained in the Barquisimeto-Duaca Intercommunal Road and Cristóbal Colón Avenue, essential arteries for connectivity in the north of the city.
