The Israeli Air Force attacked and dismantled military objectives in Tehran, including a building of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported Sunday.
“The Israeli Air Force attacked and dismantled ground-to-ground missile production sites, detection radar sites and surface-to-air missile launchers in Tehran, under the direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate,” the statement said.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, assured the Iranian agency Mehr that the Israeli Army launched a “brutal” attack on one of the ministry's buildings. “Several civilians were injured in the attack, including some of my colleagues, who were taken to the hospital,” he told the media about what he considered “an obvious war crime,” he said.
These actions come after Israel announced the start of a “series of attacks” aimed at ground-to-ground missiles in western Iran.
