Israel carries out brutal bombing of the only Catholic church in Gaza

This Thursday, the Church of the Holy Family in Gaza, the only Catholic parish in Palestinian territory, was the target of an Israeli Zionist bombing and left a preliminary toll of four fatalities and at least seven injuries, including the Argentinian parish priest Gabriel Romanelli.
According to detailed information from Telesur, the attack affected one of the few Christian religious spaces that still resisted in the besieged enclave.
In this regard, it brought with it a wave of international condemnation and a statement from the Vatican, in which it expressed its “deep sadness” at the events.
“The Holy Father reiterates his call for an immediate ceasefire and for the resumption of dialogue,” says the message from the Vatican, signed by the Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, on behalf of Pope Leo XIV.
