The forces of the Zionist regime of Israel killed 16 Palestinian civilians this Saturday during the bombing of a school that serves as a shelter for displaced persons in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip.

According to witnesses, the al-Ga'uni school, which is managed by the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), was the direct target of a warplane attack. In addition to the people who lost their lives, at least 50 were reported injured, mostly women and children.

This is the second time that this school has been bombed during the current aggression of the occupiers against Gaza. The Ministry of Health of this Palestinian territory described what happened as an “abominable massacre”, stating that the injured were taken to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

During this day, the Zionist entity also bombed a gathering of people in the area of As-Sikka, east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the enclave. One person was killed during this event, leaving several injured.

Another Palestinian civilian lost his life after an Israeli air strike in the vicinity of the al-Abrar mosque, Zaytoun neighborhood, Gaza City (north).

In Rafah, in the south, emergency and rescue teams recovered the bodies of seven people (including two women), who were taken to Nasser Hospital in Jan Yunis.

Despite the rulings of the International Court of Justice against the Zionist State regarding its genocidal acts in Gaza, it continues its aggression and has killed 38,098 Palestinians since October 7.

Zionist war crimes during the current siege of Gaza have caused 87,705 injuries. At least 10,000 people are missing.
