This Monday, the Israeli regime released 54 prisoners from Gaza, including the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, for “overcrowding in their prisons”, after seven months of detention.
The director of the largest hospital in Gaza, Dr. Mohamed Abu Salmiya, who had a changed and thin face compared to the photographs before his captivity on November 23, has called for immediate action by the Resistance for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
“Many prisoners were martyred in the interrogation cells and we left behind thousands of detainees held by the occupation,” said the doctor after leaving prison, according to a quote from Hispantv.
He also reported that Israeli doctors and nurses beat and torture Palestinian prisoners and treat the bodies of the detainees as if they were inanimate objects.
Abu Salmiya assured that each prisoner held by the occupation lost about 30 kilograms in weight, was denied food and was subjected to torture.
