In an air strike by the Israeli army against a school in the city of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, at least 25 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured, Palestinian sources reported.

The Al-Awda School, which housed hundreds of displaced people in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, was attacked by Israeli planes, according to a note from Xinhua.

Medical sources reported that the victims include women and children, and the death toll is expected to rise due to overcrowding in the area. While the Israeli army has not commented on the incident.
