Some 70 people lost their lives and 385 were injured as a result of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. There are still victims trapped under the rubble and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to access due to security conditions.
According to official statistics from the enclave's Ministry of Health, cited by the Al Mayadeen portal, the total number of victims amounted to 61,897 martyrs and 155,660 injured since October 7, 2023. During the period between March 18, 2025 and the current date, the authorities counted 10,362 deaths and 43,619 injured.
The ministry team also reported that, in the last 24 hours, 26 people lost their lives and 175 were injured while trying to access humanitarian aid. With these new cases, the total number of victims in this context amounted to 1,924 deaths and more than 14,288 injured.
Hospitals also recorded 11 deaths, including one child, as a result of famine in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities to 251, including 108 minors. These figures are part of the context of the continuing Israeli aggression, accompanied by a total blockade on the Gaza Strip.
The ban on the entry of fuel, medical supplies and food intensifies the suffering of the population and seriously hinders rescue and humanitarian assistance efforts.
