A new attack by the Israeli Zionist regime in the city of Aleppo, in northern Syria, during the early morning of this Friday, left 42 dead, 36 Syrian soldiers and six members of the Shiite group Hezbollah.

The NGO Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed the death toll and reported that there were no civilians among the victims.

“At approximately 1:45 a.m. (local time), the Israeli enemy launched an air strike from the direction of Ithriya, southeast of Aleppo, hitting several areas in the countryside,” reported the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The Israeli attack targeted several points in rural areas, causing injuries to several people, as well as material losses on public and private properties.

In a statement, the Syrian Foreign Ministry rejected the “terrorist aggression by the Israeli occupying entity against several points in Aleppo, which caused the death and injury of several civilians and soldiers, as well as material losses.”
