IVSS in Lara treats more than 2,000 patients a month after being treated with Cayapa Heroica

At the Dr. Pastor Oropeza Riera Hospital, located in western Barquisimeto, the Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out a day of recovery of essential medical equipment for hospital care, where more than 2,000 people will benefit each month.

In this deployment, promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt), advances were achieved such as the repair of Elisa lung ventilators, monitors and serology equipment.

In addition, the recovery of surgical and centrifugal lighting, the technical revision of a tomograph and portable X-ray equipment.

With these actions, more than 300 people will be able to receive free and specialized medical care on a daily basis, strengthening the response capacity of the public health system.

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan, created in 2018, reaffirms its commitment to the recovery of vital technologies in hospitals and institutions in the country, consolidating national science as a tool for life, hope and sovereignty.
