Venezuelan outfielder Jackson Chourio scored
three points in the Milwaukee Brewers
's landslide 16-2 win against the San Francisco Giants at American Family Field.
Chourio raised his lifetime total of
trailers to 168, surpassing Gleyber Torres among Venezuelans
aged 22 and under, with the highest number of RBIs, reported StatsCentre, a press review by the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
The record is topped by future
Hall of Fame member Miguel Cabrera (300), followed by Rougned Odor (197), Ronald Acuña Jr.
(194), Chourio, Torres (167), Ezequiel Tovar (127), José Celestino
López (126) and Elvis Andrus (122).
The Venezuelan started the game 22 years and 82
days old and shook a double (8) producer of two lines in the second
inning, an instance in which the Brewers stepped on the plate seven times.
Later, in the seventh, he joined single producer to reach the milestone.
Most
career RBIs by an MLB player born in Venezuela aged 22 or younger.
