Venezuelan John Chancellor scored the winning goal for Universidad Católica against Juventud de Las Piedras 1-0 in the first Phase 1 match of the Copa Libertadores.

Chancellor played the entire game and in the 47th minute he scored the only goal of the game in the 47th minute, played at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo.
