Jorge Rodríguez: On May 25, Venezuela will return to a lesson in democracy

The Venezuelan people will return, on May 25, to teach a lesson in integrity, courage and democracy to the nations of the world that have dedicated themselves to attacking our country, said Jorge Rodríguez, the head of the Ven 25+ Campaign Command.

In this regard, Rodríguez highlighted the democratic nature of Venezuelans who, just last Sunday, came massively to participate in the Second Popular Consultation of this 2025.

“Since July 28, when the presidential elections took place and until May 25, there will have been 5 electoral events in the country,” Rodríguez recalled during a press conference held this Tuesday.

He also pointed out that no country in the world can say that it demonstrates its democratic spirit “in an objective and real way” just as Venezuela does. “Now we are going to a process in which all political factors are participating with absolute freedom of campaign, of movement, of carrying their proposals and even of lying, because many will have to go crazy with the things they did in the past,” he said.
