The law recently approved by the United States House of Representatives to tighten sanctions against Venezuela, which bears the name of our Liberator, does not exist for our country and, as a result, the National Assembly approved a legal instrument to confront the blockade that has been criminally imposed on us.
This was pointed out by the president of the National Assembly, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, who pointed out that the recently approved Simon Bolivar Liberation Organic Law against the Imperialist Blockade and in Defense of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is a sign that our country will not tolerate any type of aggression by foreign nations or those born in this land.
“Any aggression against our territory, against our homeland, against our people, against our symbols, against our right to live in peace, against our right to freely develop our economy must stop,” Rodríguez said before the equestrian statue of the Father of the Fatherland where, symbolically, he carried the new legal instrument.
In this regard, he stressed that the recently approved legal instrument punishes those who have asked for sanctions, invasions, actions against our country.
“This is the law of tenderness and ferocity. We are tender but fierce in the defense of our lives, our customs, our homeland. Don't dare with us, because we will respond and we will win,” he said.
