The Ministry of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service (MPPSP) informs the country that, within the framework of joint work with the organs of the Justice System, 88 new releases of persons deprived of their liberty have occurred in the last few hours for crimes committed in the context of violent actions by extremist sectors following the electoral process of July 28, 2024, aimed at generating destabilization and ignoring the sovereign will of the Venezuelan people.

This announcement, made public through an official statement on the institutional account of the MPPSP, on the social network Instagram, is a sign of the Venezuelan State's steadfastness in the defense of peace and national stability.

The ministerial body emphasized that these actions are part of the process of comprehensive review of cases, instructed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through which each situation is evaluated individually and precautionary measures are adopted, in accordance with the Law.

All of this as part of a justice policy with a humanistic approach and the preservation of peace.
