Venezuelan Keibert Ruiz had a high-impact offensive day in the Washington Nationals' 13-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles, driving five runs, the highest number in his career in the major leagues.

The receiver hit a home run and a double, scored a run and also added his first stolen base of the season, in a game that confirmed his offensive rebound during the month of May. In addition, in his last five games he has hit three home runs, leaving behind a discreet start to the campaign, according to a Venezuelan Television review.

Ruiz opened his contribution with a home run in the second inning against right-hander Chris Bassitt, giving Washington an early advantage in a game that later came under pressure after a reaction from Baltimore in the seventh inning.

When the difference was reduced to a single race, the Venezuelan returned to respond with a single to left field with full bases against Keegan Akin, driving two scores that extended the Nationals' lead.

With this performance, Ruiz matched the team's best record of the season in RBIs in a single game, shared with CJ Abrams, establishing himself as a key player in Washington's offense.
