La Guaira and Táchira leaders of their respective groups in the FUTVE League

Deportivo La Guaira and Deportivo Táchira remain in first place in their respective groups, in the Final Phase of the 2025 Apertura Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League), after the third round of that instance.

For Quadrangular A, the orange team remained on top with 6 points, despite falling 3-2 to UCV FC at the Olympic Stadium in Caracas.

The winning goals came courtesy of Alfonso Simarra at minute 20 minutes, Yohan Cumana at 61 minutes and Charlis Ortiz at 67 minutes. While the discount was made by Keiber Lamadrid at 54′ and Sebastián Castillo at 74′.

In the other match, Portuguesa FC and Anzoátegui FC equaled 0-0, at the José Antonio Páez stadium, in Acarigua.

These results leave the Tricolor team in second place in the group with 5 points, followed by Portuguesa and Anzoátegui with 2 goals each.

For Quadrangular B, Deportivo Táchira dominated Carabobo FC by a minimum 1-0, with a goal scored by Juan Manuel Requena at 11′ at the Pueblo Nuevo stadium, in San Cristóbal.

For their part, Metropolitanos and Academia Puerto Cabello tied 1-1 at the Olympic stadium in the Capital City. Carlos Paraco scored 13′ for the locals and Junior Paredes scored 8′ for the visit.

Táchira leads group b with 9 points, followed by Carabobo with 4 points, Puerto Cabello with 2 and Metropolitanos with 1.
