On the third day of the Carnival holiday, La Guaira registered 85% of hotel occupancy and 97.5% of the use of awnings on beaches and spas, said José Alejandro Terán, the governor of the entity.
“These are the figures that are being reported to us and, of course, tourism is once again reactivating as an engine of the economy in the state of La Guaira, where at least 70,000 Guaires are directly dependent on what the beach economy provides,” he explained in statements to the Venezuelan media.
Terán, as reported by VTV, considered that one of the fundamental reasons for La Guaira to be chosen as one of the main tourist destinations has to do mainly with the recognition of public security tasks, beaches and the state's conditions with its beaches, history, cultural activities and gastronomy.
In addition, it was reported that on this third day of deployment for carnestolendo vacation, there are more than 2,200 civil servants and more than 200 vehicles along the Central Coast, articulated in a perfect fusion of popular, military and police, for the full guarantee of safety, protection and healthy enjoyment of their own and seasonal workers.
Security protects every corner of the coastal state and also allows everyone to enjoy the Viva Venezuela 2026 Carnival in the safest state of Venezuela.
