La Guaira: Vargas Municipality plans to have more than one million visitors for carnivals

The director of municipal tourism of the Mayor's Office of Vargas, Carlos Cavadia, stressed that their projection for this carnival holiday is to receive 1.5 million visitors and so far there are more than 750 thousand. In addition, there is a hotel occupancy rate above 95%.

According to information published on the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) website, Cavadia indicated that in the entity you can not only enjoy beaches and rivers, but also historical tourism, since they have the Historic City of La Guaira.

In the same way, he indicated that they have seven consecutive years as a preferred tourist destination for Venezuelans, because currently La Guaira has 66 suitable beaches, including Catia La Mar, Playa Candileja, Bahía de Los Niños, Playa Surfista, Playa Pantaleta, Ciudad Vacacional Los Caracas, Playa Coral, among others.

La Guaira has four thousand officials deployed to ensure the safety of all visitors to the entity.
