The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Wednesday that La Guaira was the most visited entity during the Carnivals 2025.

“We congratulate the governor of La Guaira (José Alejandro Terán),” Rodríguez said during the balance sheet of Operation Happy Carnival and Insurance 2025, from Simon Bolivar Park, in Caracas.

He explained that in second place was Falcón state, followed by Anzoátegui, Miranda, Aragua, Bolívar, Caracas, Sucre, Carabobo and Lara. “They were the 10 most visited entities during these carnivals. So many beauties in these states, really, congratulations to the peoples of those states who have also welcomed visitors both from our country and international tourists who came to Venezuela fleeing the European winter,” he said.

He stressed that beaches were the main tourist destination. “Playa El Agua, Playa Parguito, Macuto, El Jaque, Camurichico, Mochima, Higuerote, Cuyagua, Cata Bay, Choroni, were the beaches with the highest influx of seasonal workers and there you were security officers looking after the children, the girls, the grandparents, waiting for all the enjoyment to be done with peace of mind without any kind of event,” he said.
