The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, expressed his absolute rejection of insults and discrimination against Venezuelan women, specifically Chavista women, by the extremist opposition sector.
Faced with this campaign, Cabello urged not to fall into provocation since all the opponents who publish these insults, live abroad, “work for La Sayona (...) they are the longline journalists, prepaid by the Venezuelan right wing, of La Sayona and her band.”
Cabello read some of the above-mentioned messages, including, “an open-mouthed man called Orlando Avendano”, Esteban Gerbasi, Jorge Albornoz Oliver and Enmanuel Rincón, among others.
In that sense, she argued that the reason why they attack revolutionary women is because the extreme right knows that Chavista women are the vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution.
He stressed that, in the end, it is the same speech of the patriarch Inmundo González, in recent times, when he argued that women did not deserve to be in any position of responsibility, because they had no capacity.”
The statement was made in Guerrera Ana Soto parish, Iribarren municipality, Lara state, where Cabello responded to one of those longliners, that “here the one who has a big ass (fear, anguish) is another one, because this town knows what will happen on July 28”.
