The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB) for the Government of the state of Lara, Luis Reyes Reyes, assured that if elected by the People, he will continue the works that were carried out during his first administration and were deteriorated and will promote new ones.

During the closing of the campaign, from the Iribarren municipality, he emphasized that among the first areas to be addressed will be health, education and housing.

“The government works from 2000 to 2008 are my best certificate that I work for the people,” said Reyes Reyes.

He also pledged to repair what needed to be repaired to ensure a greater recurrence of the water service and to recover the units of the Barquisimeto Mass Transportation System (TRANSBARCA) to make it available to people who live farther away.

His government plan also includes activating financing systems for entrepreneurs to boost the economy in the state.

In addition, he stated that he will create the necessary mechanisms to guarantee employment for young people. “That they have their first secure job,” he added.

He announced that the Lara state has already been confirmed as the venue for the 2026 national games. “We are going to retouch the facilities, rehabilitate them, so that they are ready by 2026", he said.
