More than 60 institutions in the state of Lara were equipped with new equipment for the School Feeding Program (PAE), during a day held at the Lisandro Alvarado Educational Complex, in the Iribarren municipality.

The Deputy Minister of Facilities and Logistics, Willian Gil, led the activity together with Governor Luis Reyes Reyes, regional authorities, managers and the mother cooks responsible for the food service on the campuses.

The delivery took place at a participatory meeting where representatives of each institution removed the equipment assigned to strengthen the operation of school canteens.

The equipment included industrial kitchens, freezers, display refrigerators, irons and other implements necessary for the operation of the PAE. 50 laboratory kits were also distributed for pedagogical activities.

During the day, a refrigerated truck was incorporated to expand the capacity for transporting and preserving food, bringing the entity to four units destined for the cold chain.
