Lara will host the II National Maize Congress

A total of 24 national and foreign speakers will meet at the II National Maize Congress to be held from 14 to 16 March in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state.

These are experienced producers, professors and university researchers, who will discuss issues related to weed management, seeds, biological controllers, new alternatives and technologies, all related to this busy sector in our economy.

“This time we are looking to expand this figure, to reach all those involved in the corn production sector and to be part of this unification of knowledge. The purpose is always to promote information, technologies, tools, management and supplies for thousands of producers in this sector,” said Andrés Ortiz, president of the organizing committee.

He added that the main objective is to bring together as many producers, specialists, agricultural companies and stakeholders in the area.
