Las Tejerías de Aragua expects more than 6 thousand visitors at its 2026 Tourist Carnivals

The Bolivarian government of Aragua announced the
schedule of activities that will take place in the town of Las Tejerias for the Carnival holiday,
in which more than 6,000 people are expected to enjoy educational, recreational and cultural
activities.
“Each of
the programmed activities aims to strengthen nationalist identity and sentiment, that is,
the values that distinguish us
as Tejerieños, Aragüeños and Venezuelans,” said the mayor of the Santos Michelena municipality, Régulo La Cruz.
Namely, a new tourist route will be announced that
includes the resorts of Boca de Cagua and Cascaronal, where
vacationers will be able to have contact with nature, as well as being ideal
options for rest and recreation.
The Carnival agenda will take place on February 12,
the Carnival Cry will be held with the elderly, as well as the election of
the queen and king momo of this sector of the population. On
Saturday, February 14, the local government will hold
collective marriages at 10:00 in the morning and then, at 6:00 in the
afternoon, the election of the Carnival queen will take place. Also,
throughout the holidays, various
recreational and cultural activities will be available in Plaza Bolívar de Las Tejerías, at the Aurora Delgado House
of Culture and the El Caballista Club; in addition to the
days to be held in the Tiara parish.

For
her part, the Secretary of Tourism of the state of Aragua, Vicmar Olmos,
said that, under the guidance of the governor of Aragua, Joana Sanchéz,
the 18 municipalities of the state of Aragua will have an extensive
program, so that the population can enjoy every corner of the entity.
“In the case of Las Tejerías, there is
already a program aimed at exploiting the potential of the
municipality and thus ensuring a rich content that enhances the identity of the municipality and, in turn, the enjoyment
of its own and visitors, always
remembering that Las Tejerías has everything,” he emphasized.
In the
same way, in this municipality on the eastern axis of Aragua, there will be a
deployment of more than 200 officials, including the Bolivarian
National Guard, the Aragua Police, the
Bolivarian National Police and Civil Protection, who will ensure the safety of all seasonal workers.
