LAUICOM opened registrations for International Postdoctorate in Media Education and Electoral Marketing

The International University of Communications (LAUICOM) announced the registration process for the International Postdoctorate in Media Education and Electoral Marketing, which will be open until April 25.

The program is aimed at doctors and researchers in Social Sciences, Communication Sciences and Political Sciences with international validity.

The postdoctorate, which will take place virtually for 16 weeks, will address the critical study of media hegemony, technology, social networks and metadata, offering theoretical and practical tools to understand current dynamics and explore counterhegemonic alternatives. Social scientists from 19 international universities will participate, allowing students to access research and establish global professional links.

The sessions will be both synchronous and asynchronous, with recorded classes and live meetings on Fridays with international speakers. Participants must submit final papers that meet international standards for scientific publication, which will be presented at an international conference, according to a LAUICOM press release.

Applicants must submit a single PDF file with the following documents by April 25: valid identity card or identity document, registered doctorate degree and a professional profile of a page.
