León Heredia: The election results reflect once again that the people want peace

The Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio César León Heredia, stated that the results in the past elections of Mayors and Municipal Councils reflect once again that what the people want is peace.

During his participation in the radio program Sin Truco Ni Maña hosted by the deputy Tania Díaz, León Heredia, he said that the people want peace first of all, people got tired of the conflict and understood that to the extent that they are integrated there are good results. “Every quarter we have experienced significant economic growth and the country is making progress in each of its areas,” he said.

He also emphasized that politics is the act of the greatest human relationship, “the essence of the human being is political in any of its aspects”.

The Ministry praised the new way of doing politics, proposed by President Nicolás Maduro, which is the National Popular Consultation, “it's something wonderful”, because what is in our Constitution is materializing, a truly participatory, leading, direct democracy, where the people go to consult and decide their project.

“The ruler must always be in contact with his people, willing to hear the harshest truths and something important, as Commander Hugo Chávez always told us, the people are never guilty, there can be mistakes but sometimes mistakes are made because there was no right leadership, the right support,” he added.
