Liberator Simon Bolivar is offered in Caracas for the 65th Anniversary of Kuwait's National Day

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the State of Kuwait made a floral offering
this Thursday before the sarcophagus that holds the remains of the
Liberator Simon Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, in Caracas, on the occasion of the celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the National Day and the 35th Anniversary of
the Liberation of the Arab country.
The ceremony was led by the Deputy Minister for
Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for
Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, and the chargé d'affaires of Kuwait in Venezuela,
Mishaal Albannai, accompanied by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
Venezuela and Kuwait maintain consolidated relations of cooperation and
friendship after 60 years of diplomatic ties, established in September
1965, based on an energy alliance through the Organization of Petroleum Exporting
Countries (OPEC) and OPEC+.
Both nations are making progress in strengthening cooperation in agriculture, tourism, investment and trade, in addition to sharing values of sovereignty and development, as well as greater synergy in multilateral forums, in favor of a peaceful, just and multipolar world order.
