With the presentation of the digital book “Epic Man”, by the writer Ezequiel Piñero, the Librería del Sur Maracay closed its cultural program for 2025. This work traces the life and artistic legacy of the outstanding director and playwright Alberto J. Suárez, a fundamental figure in contemporary Venezuelan theater.

The activity was attended by the author Ezequiel Piñero, who shared with the public details of the research and writing process of the work. The meeting was accompanied by members of the Teatro Estable de Maracay, a group that celebrates 58 years of artistic life, underlining the validity of the theatrical legacy that inspires the book.

The cultural day also included the special participation of the flutist Nelson Romero, whose musical intervention brought a sensitive and emotional nuance to the presentation, enriching the dialogue between literature, music and performing arts.

Published by Editorial El Perro y la Rana, Hombre Epico proposes a biographical journey that spans six decades, from 1940 to 2000, offering a comprehensive overview of Suárez's personal, creative and cultural trajectory. The text delves into his contribution to theater, his aesthetic vision and his influence on the formation of generations of actors and directors, consolidating him as a reference on the national scene.
