Local Government launches Mental Health Plan in Las Tejerías de Aragua

With the purpose of prioritizing the emotional well-being of the inhabitants of Las Tejerías in Aragua, the local government announced the official launch of the Mental Health Plan.
It is a program that was born as a comprehensive response to
the need to promote emotional balance, prevent crises and offer
supportive and professional support through education,
early intervention and social mobilization. Under the premise “A path you should not walk alone”, the initiative seeks to transform psychological care in the jurisdiction, ensuring that no inhabitant faces their internal battles in silence.
The mayor of the Santos Michelena municipality, Régulo La Cruz, explained that this plan will serve 74 communities and its implementation was made official with a day of recreation, relaxation and regression, with the participation of a motivational coach, psychologist, psychiatrist, recreational and brigade members, and stands out for its robust technical structure, made up of professionals from various areas, who ensure emotional stability and mental health at every stage of life.
The team is made up of medical specialists (psychologist and psychiatrist); educational support with graduates with learning difficulties, preschool teachers and counselors; occupational therapists, nurses and brigade personnel trained for early detection and care in communities.
