Maduro: Next May 25, the noble people of Venezuela will decide

The Venezuelan people will decide on May 25 who will occupy the positions of governors, deputies to the National Assembly and Legislative Councils, not right-wing groups linked to North American imperialism, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“When an electoral process comes, we Venezuelans prepare to campaign, to have large mobilizations, festive events. That's why I tell the more than 6,500 candidates, you're going to let go of the right that the people decide, who will decide the sayona or their carnal relationship with imperialism,” said the Head of State during a coordination meeting with State security agencies.

In this regard, he stressed that historically it is the Venezuelan people who decide, through electoral means, who are their leaders. “Here he has always decided and on May 25, in the elections, the noble people of Venezuela will decide,” he said.
