Magnitude 5.8 earthquake shakes central Mexico

This Tuesday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred on Tuesday in the Mexican state of Jalisco (center), without authorities reporting damage, the National Weather Service (SMN) reported.

This is a magnitude 5.8 earthquake located 275 km west of Cihuatlán, Jalisco, 13/05/25 14:43:06 (20:43 GMT). Latitude 18.77 Longitude -107.13. Depth 5 km, indicated the official report published by local authorities.

For its part, the National Civil Protection Coordination reported that no damage was reported. “At the moment, no damage has been reported,” the Sputnik website reported.
