Mayor Hernández: Cristóbal Rojas Municipality nominates 151 projects in the 8M Popular Consultation

The mayor of the municipality Cristóbal Rojas, Yuhismar Hernández, reported that this jurisdiction plans to apply for 151 projects for the National Popular Consultation, to be held next Sunday, March 08, in order to strengthen participatory democracy.

In this regard, he affirmed that progress is being made in organizational deployment ahead of the next Popular Consultation.

In an interview with the program Café en la Mañana, which broadcasts Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he stressed that, after the swearing in of the municipal command, this Wednesday 25th, the commandos will take place in each of the 22 communes of the municipality. “We are preparing with a great deployment and a clear route to strengthen the sovereignty of our people,” he said.

He also explained that, by March 8, the inhabitants of Cristóbal Rojas will have the opportunity to choose the projects proposed by the grassroots and that 80% of the projects are aimed at economic transformation.

He pointed out that these initiatives make it possible to promote the economic development of the jurisdiction that is largely characterized by the production of corn, coffee, bananas, cocoa, as well as the production of pork, sheep, goats, among others.

Hernández highlighted the success of the Popular Consultations to guarantee the quality of life of the Venezuelan people, which is why he called for the massive and inclusive participation of all neighbors.
